Described as "Cambridge's finest, and one to watch" by the ‘Cambridge Evening News’, my friend irma  are living up to their reputation. With their infectious sound, captivating performances and fantastic stage presence, Irma continue to prove that they are the city’s most exciting and innovative band.

Their music has been called a "21st century punk pop spin on some sound rock 'n roll basics" and "indie rock with a twist", and there is no doubt that my friend irma  have an undeniable and indefinable charm.  On stage, and on record, you can't help but be impressed by the band's frantic and energetic approach.

A new album is to be released in May 2003.  Recorded at their own analogue ‘Tallow Room’ studios near Newmarket, the album captures that unique Irma mix of catchy tunes, vintage sounds, blinding rhythms, and stylish instrumentation.  The band’s previous album, 'Tom Bunning and Mr Late' was launched at two sell out nights in Cambridge and London.

my friend irma  are looking forward to unleashing their new recordings, and even more excited about touring and promoting their new album in 2003.
